Every Emerald Ember log begins life as someone else's offcut. We take clean reclaimed timber that was headed for landfill, dry it, and press it into a dense log that burns hotter and longer than the firewood it replaces, without a single tree cut for fuel.

Most firewood starts with a tree being felled. Our eco products start with waste timber. We take clean, untreated offcuts from sawmills, joinery and manufacturing, and press them into a finished log that holds more energy per kilogram than the seasoned wood it replaces.
Our decision to work this way keeps Irish forests standing, and pulls material back out of the waste stream.

No binders. No glues. No chemical accelerants. Just wood, pressure and heat.
Refine
Everything is screened, sorted and milled to a uniform fibre. Anything painted, treated or contaminated never enters the line.
Dry & compress
The fibre is dried to a low, consistent moisture level, then compressed under extreme pressure. Its own lignin binds it, so no glue is needed.
Burn clean
A dense, dry log that lights fast, throws more heat per kilo than seasoned firewood, and leaves a fraction of the ash behind.

Emerald Ember goes a step further. Our fibre is reclaimed, so no tree is felled for fuel at all, and the timber's alternative fate was landfill, where it rots into methane.
